Jeffrey Rosen
- Was designated by former Secretary of Transportation Norman Mineta to go to Amtrak Board meetings in his stead.
- Has since then left the Department of Transportation to work at the Office of Management and Budget.
- Refused to allow me to speak with him last winter, designating DOT attorney Terence Carlson to do so in his stead.
- Repeatedly asked me through Mr. Carlson if I was able to speak with Mr. David Laney, the Chairman. (Answer: No, he wouldn't allow me to speak either.)
- Never in any way acknowledged receipt of the copious correspondence I sent him.
- OKed my meeting in Washington with Terence Carlson on March 14, after which nothing was ever heard from either of them.
