• Had never even set foot on an Amtrak train before being appointed to the Board.
• Was initially appointed to the Amtrak Board on February 6, 2004 .
• Has never received confirmation by the Senate, and was mysteriously absent when called before Congress to testify about his role in the controversial firing of Amtrak's last president, David Gunn.
• Has never made a public statement of any sort that I can find on transportation or rail policy.
• Refused to so much as acknowledge receipt of my copious correspondence sent to him regarding the financial "hit" on the Northeast Corridor commuters.
